1. Submitting personal information
The ISCF email updates system requires that you submit personal information about yourself (name and email address), in order that we may provide you with the information you have requested.
In its use of the data provided, the ISCF will act in accordance with current legislation and aim to meet current internet best practice.
2. Use and storage of your personal information
- The personal information you provide will be used only for the purposes set out in the Email Updates pages – ie, to email you with information on updates and developments to the ISCF website.
- The information you provide will not be used for any other purpose, and will under no circumstances be passed to any other organisation or individual without your prior consent.
- We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as you use the Email Updates service. The Email Updates pages provide a facility for users to remove their details from our mailing list - using this will result in immediate permanent deletion of your details from our system.
- We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
3. Access to your personal information
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information the ISCF holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. Please address requests to the MRC Web and Publications Team, 20 Park Crescent, London W1P 6AL, UK, or email [email protected]
4. Users aged 16 and under
If you are aged 16 or under, please get your parent/guardian's permission beforehand whenever you provide personal information to the ISCF website. Users without this consent are not allowed to provide us with personal information.
